Youth Football All-League Scrimmage on Saturday

Posted By Kenston Youth Football on Aug 15, 2017
A reminder that this Saturday, August 19th, Kenston will be hosting the first annual WRYFL League Scrimmage on our campus.

We will be using 3 fields at the high school, - the main stadium, and 2 of the lower bowls. Each will be clearly marked with signs when you arrive.

Concessions will be available all day. The concession are particularly important; as this is intended to be Kenston Youth Football?s main fundraiser for the year.

Volunteerism and pride in our Kenston program will be the key to a successful event. We need parents (and high school students looking for service time) to sign up to help work concessions for this event using the following SignUpGenius link (also available from

Each game is intended to be approximately 1 hour long, going alternating plays 10-10-10-10 on offense and defense. All coaches can be on the field for instruction, but as we have done in the past varsity coaches may call plays in from the sideline. No refs will be here; the games are time for instruction with the players. All games will be called with quick whistles so as to prevent any injuries. We will never ask a parent to work concessions during their own kid's game.

Also, the WRYFL mandatory coaches'/commissioners' meeting will be in between sessions 2 and 3 in the Kenston High School Cafeteria.

Thanks and we look forward to seeing all of you?next Saturday.

Thanks again!
